SCHENECTADY, NY (05/01/2013)(readMedia)-- The Friends of Schenectady County Public Library will offer a series of Books Sandwichen In programs at the Central library, 99 Clinton Street in Schenectady, On May 6 Don Gavin will review The Civil War of 1812 by Alan Taylor. The programs are held in the McChesney Room, beginning at 12:00 pm. All are open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lunch; beverages are available for a nominal fee.
