Friends of the Schenectady County Public Library Hold Winter Non-Fiction Book Sale

SCHENECTADY, NY (02/17/2012)(readMedia)-- Over 3,000 titles will be on sale for $1.00 each, when the Friends of the Schenectady County Public Library hold its annual Winter Non-Fiction Used Book Sale on Saturday, February 25 through Monday February 27, 2012.

Books include History, Cook Books, Text Books, Biographies & more.

The sale runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Saturday and Monday and 1-5 p.m. on Sunday in the entrance hallway of the library at 99 Clinton Street.

The Friends of SCPL also operate the Whitney Book Corner, 600 Union Street, which sells quality used books for reasonable prices. Most hardcover books are $2 and paperbacks are $1.

WHAT: The annual winter non-fiction used book sale includes over 3,000 titles on sale for $1.00 each. Over 150 volunteers are involved in the annual book sales and proceeds of the book sales will benefit the nine branches of the county library system.
