The names of the recipients were announced by the General Building Contractors of New York State (GBC), which is the New York State Building Chapter of the AGC. They include:

The Award is based on safety statistics required by OSHA. "Receipt of such an award is proof positive of the emphasis these contractors place on providing a safe and healthful workplace,” said Jeff Zogg, Executive Director of the GBC. "The common denominator of our Membership is that they possess skill, integrity, and responsibility. A commitment to safety is a strong sign of these qualities."
