Ganschow Named SUNYAC Athlete of the Week
BROCKPORT, NY (12/10/2013)(readMedia)-- Brendon Ganschow was chosen as the State Univesrity of New York Athletic Conferece (SUNYAC) Male Field Athlete of the Week for the week ending on Dec. 8.
Ganschow was a double winner in the throws on Saturday at the Golden Eagle Early Season Invitational.
In the first meet of the 2013-14 indoor season, Ganschow set a new record in the shot put with a winning throw of 16.26 meters (53' 41/4"). He also took first in the weight throw with a measured distance of 15.67 meters (51'5").
The Golden Eagles return to action on Jan. 18 at 10:00 am for the SLU Invitational hosted by St. Lawrence University.
