BEAVER FALLS, PA (10/18/2012)(readMedia)-- Request for Coverage: Geneva College Homecoming

Who: Homecoming brings together members of the Geneva College community, including students, parents, alumni, faculty, staff, neighbors, friends and people from Beaver County.

When: Saturday, October 20 from 10 a.m.-7 p.m.

What: Geneva College's annual Homecoming festivities. Activities with particular news and photography appeal include:

• The College Hill Festival, 10a.m.-4 p.m. –A sidewalk festival with artisans, ethnic food, vendors, and live musical performances.
• Cultural Performances, 10 a.m. -4 p.m. – A wide selection of local groups will display talents. Performances include a martial arts demonstration, a magic show, a puppet show, wood carving, and several bands.
• Geneva Women's Soccer, 11 a.m. – Geneva women will play Grove City in the Merriman Athletic Complex.
• Little Inspector's Academy, 12:30-3:30p.m. – Kids are invited to enjoy games, balloons, face painting and a petting zoo.
• Genevans' Concert, 12-12:30 p.m. –The Genevans' 75th anniversary season will begin with a free concert in John White Chapel.
• Geneva Men's Soccer, 1 p.m. –Geneva men will face Grove City in the Merriman Athletic Complex.
• Pre-game Homecoming Crowning Ceremony, 3:30 p.m. – Features the crowning of the 2012 Homecoming king and queen.
• Golden Tornadoes football game against Waynesburg University, 4 p.m. – There should be plenty of GT action for this game, and a Geneva alumni marching band performance will provide additional highlights. Tickets for the game can be purchased at the registration area by Old Main, or at Reeves Stadium. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for college students.
