Geneva College's Adult Degree Completion Program announces new online program
A degree in Christian Ministry Leadership is now available, in addition to Human Resources.
BEAVER FALLS, PA (01/09/2013)(readMedia)-- Geneva College's Adult Degree Completion Program (ADCP), an accelerated undergraduate program for adults who have some college and/or work experience, announces the addition of a second completely online major-Christian ministry leadership. The new program begins on Monday, March 11, and applications are now being accepted.
The Christian ministry leadership major focuses on developing Christian leaders to serve effectively by enabling them to envision, plan, develop, and implement church or para-church ministries that may impact their communities for the Kingdom of Christ. In addition, this degree provides solid preparation for students considering post-graduate work in seminary. The curriculum focuses on foundations of Christian thought, personal leadership assessment, principles of family ministry, organizational analysis and more.
The ADCP provides students with the opportunity to finish a bachelor's degree in as little as 17 months. In the fully online programs, students receive a high-quality Geneva College education at their own convenience, with the ability to log in anytime and anywhere to work on their degrees.
"Offering online education is just one more way the ADCP is extending busy adults the opportunity to finish their degree in a Christ-centered program that meets not just close to their homes, but in their homes, and where they work, around the clock," explained Dr. Ralph Phillips, Director of the ADCP.
The ADCP's other online offering is human resources, which is designed for professionals dealing with real-life issues in the workplace. The curriculum for this program covers topics related to employee and labor relations, training and development, group dynamics, styles of communication, ethics and decision making, effective supervision techniques and organizational behavior.
Interested students can request information and enroll online at http://online.geneva.edu/.
For those who have not completed the minimum number of credits required for the ADCP program, Geneva also offers the Bridge Program, with classes conducted in the classroom, as partially-online or fully online. More information can be found at www.geneva.edu/bridge.
