Geneva College's New Song hits the road on annual summer tour
BEAVER FALLS, PA (06/23/2011)(readMedia)-- New Song, a special music ministry of Geneva College, will depart Sunday, June 26 for their annual summer tour. The group will perform in over a dozen states, from Pennsylvania to Colorado. Information on the 30+ tour dates can be found here.
Now in its 35th year, New Song is a ministry that features a cappella singing of the psalms. Through music and drama, the group conveys the gospel in a contemporary and dynamic way, showing the wide range of emotions and praise to God found in the psalms. The group is directed by music faculty member Louise (Edgar '66) Copeland.
The 2011 New Song members include Allie Reefer, Jesse Carroll, Joshua Buck, Anna Landell, Logan Harper, Hannah Moore, Sarah Falk, Ian Taylor, Laura Neely.
