ALBANY, NY (03/23/2015)(readMedia)-- Girl Scout of Northeastern New York presents the third annual Cookie Cuisine, a tasting event with the ultimate twist on Girl Scout cookies, benefiting the Girl Scout camp program.
WHO: | Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York partnering with 15 restaurants from the Capital Region: Yono’s, dp American Brassiere, The Bull and the Barrel, Capital District Catering, The Water’s Edge Lighthouse, Sage Bistro, Druthers’, Circus Café, One Six Five, The Garden Bistro, Zachary’s Pastry Shoppe, Prime at Saratoga National, Honest Weight Food Co-op, The Desmond and Carney’s Tavern. Yono and Donna Purnomo are the Honorary Co-Chairs. Serving on the judging panel: Jenny Witte, Mamatoga.com, Nick Johnston, CBS6, Chad O’Hara, B95.5, and Chrissy Cavotta, Fly 92.3. Julia Dunn, CBS6 weekday morning anchor will be serving as the Master of Ceremonies. |
WHAT: | Cookie Cuisine, a tasting event with appetizers, entrees, and desserts will be served with an infusion of the Girl Scout cookie(s) of the chef’s choice. Each category will be judged and be declared a winner. Guest will have the opportunity to pick an overall winner, “People’s choice.” In addition to the tasting, there will be a raffle auction from over 30 vendors. |
