ALBANY, NY (01/22/2008)(readMedia)-- Hodes Associates, one of Albany’s well regarded government relations consulting firms, is pleased to announce that Ginger Lynch Landy is now a Partner in the firm. The firm will now be known as Hodes & Landy.
In her capacity as Vice President, Ms. Landy has been an integral part of the firm for eight years. During this time she has worked closely with the firm’s President, Nancy Hodes, on key state-level issues affecting many groups of New Yorkers. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Landy served on the staff of the NYS Senate, was the top aide to a former mayor of the City of Mount Vernon and managed federal grants and international delegations at the Executive Education Programs Office of the Maxwell School for Citizenship and Public Affairs of Syracuse University. Ms. Landy holds a B.A. degree in political science from the State University of New York at Oneonta and is an active board member and past president of the Rotary Club of Delmar.

Nancy Hodes founded Hodes Associates after a distinguished career in New York State government. Her State service culminated with her appointment as Executive Deputy Director of the Governor’s Office of Employee Relations. In 2002, Ms. Hodes won the prestigious Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce Woman of Excellence Award. In the community, she has served as Board Chair of the Albany Institute of History and Art (AIHA) and also serves on the boards of Re-Capitalize Albany, the American Cancer Society and Capital Culture. Nancy Hodes is a graduate of Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
