Credit Union Members Will Unite for "Don't Tax My Credit Union" Rally

ALBANY, NY (08/21/2013)(readMedia)-- As Congress works on revamping the tax code, billions of dollars are at stake for millions of hard-working American families. Credit unions are member-owned not-for-profit financial cooperatives who return their earnings to those members. The banking industry is trying to pressure lawmakers into eliminating credit unions' not-for-profit tax exemption. Taxing credit unions won't be taxing a company; it will be taxing the members-another tax on working people.
