James Bardenett Named to ABCA All-Region Team
BROCKPORT, NY (05/24/2012)(readMedia)-- Junior James Bardenett (Syracuse, NY/Henninger) has picked up all-region honors from the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA).
Junior ace James Bardenett has been named Second-Team All-New York Region by ABCA. Bardenett was also named to the Third-Team All-New York Region from d3baseball.com earlier in the week. The junior tied a single season school record with nine wins on the season, finishing with a 9-2 record and 2.54 ERA. Bardenett won five of his last six starts to finish the year. Along with Bardenett's all-region selections, the junior was named to the First-Team All-SUNYAC and the SUNYAC All-Tournament teams following the conclusion of the season
The Golden Eagles advanced to the SUNYAC Championship game for the fifth consecutive season and finished as runner-ups. Brockport posted a final record of 26-17 and 10-8 in conference play.
