James Cody Named All-American

The SUNYAC Player of the Year is the first Brockport player to earn All-American honors

BROCKPORT, NY (03/20/2012)(readMedia)-- Senior forward James Cody (Schwenksville, PA) has been named to the 2012 Division III CCM Men's Hockey All-American East Second-Team announced by the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA). Cody is the first Golden Eagle in the history of Brockport Hockey to earn All-American honors.

Cody, also named to the 2011-2012 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) First-Team and the SUNYAC Player of the Year, was one of four SUNYAC players to earn All-American honors. The senior led the league with 19 goals and finished with 34 points, fifth-most in the league. In 15 conference games, Cody scored 11 goals and had eight assists.

Cody finished sixth on the all-time points list at Brockport with 116. He finished with 60 career goals and 56 assists. Cody led the Golden Eagles in scoring in three of his four years on the team.
