CLIFTON PARK, NY (10/10/2007)(readMedia)-- Judi Clements Training & Development in Clifton Park, NY has been selected by Philips Medical Systems in Albany, NY to develop & present new supervisor training. The 26 hour program will be developed and customized by President, Judi Clements for the Philips workforce.
Philips' philosophy of "promote from within" encourages front line employees to develop their skills for possible future supervisory opportunities. Clements' firm specializes in new supervisor training. She had worked with the Philips workforce in the past under the Intermagnetics' name.
Clements says the special challenge with this training is to pack a lot of information in a short amount of time. New supervisors need to develop the communication skills and confidence to lead others. They also need to understand many legal aspects of supervision so that they lead in a fair and consistent manner. Clements points out that most employment law suits start at the first level of supervision because new supervisors aren't sure what to do and say to their employees.
Clements says: "Most new supervisor mistakes are innocent ones, however they can still end up seriously damaging individuals and companies."
As president of Clifton-Park based Judi Clements Training & Development, Clements delivers corporate training and keynote speeches in the areas of supervision, communication, wellness, & customer service. Her programs are known for their interactivity; trainees stay engaged through discussion, case studies, simulations, & role plays. She can be reached at 518-371-9184 www.judiclements.com
