New Supervisors at Wildwood learn how to move from peer to supervisor

CLIFTON PARK, NY (09/17/2009)(readMedia)-- Judi Clements Training & Development was selected by the Wildwood Programs, Inc to deliver an extended supervisory training program. The nine part program will enable both new and experienced supervisors to develop their communication, motivation, and organizational skills. The program will place special emphasis on developing supervisors who have been promoted from within the organization.

According to Clements, "Moving from peer to supervisor can be a daunting challenge for a new supervisor. In this program, we give supervisors the skills they need to develop supervisory credibility with all levels of the organization."

Team Interaction Method

Clements uses a highly interactive "team interaction method," which puts the trainees into teams to solve supervisory problems that simulate experiences they will have on the job. The team activities keep the trainees engaged and give them the practice they need in problem solving and decision making.
