POUGHKEEPSIE, NY (02/19/2013)(readMedia)-- Community Voices Heard and a number of allied organizations will host a public meeting in Poughkeepsie with federal and state elected officials to discuss issues important to low-income residents of the Hudson Valley, including affordable housing, youth issues, raising the minimum wage, immigration reform, safety net programs, job creation, instituting a Fair Elections system in the state, as well as the federal and state budget. The event is open to the public.
