Louisville 'Fight For Air Walk' Set for May 21st

LOUISVILLE, KY (03/29/2011)(readMedia)-- The American Lung Association will hold its annual Fight for Air Walk, on Saturday, May 21, 2011. The walk takes place at Waterfront Park, Brown-Forman Amphitheater. Registration starts at 8:00 AM; the walk begins at 9:00 AM.

The goal for this year's walk is to raise $165,000. Funds raised support critical lung health programs such as research at the University of Louisville, community asthma education, patient support groups, stop-smoking programs and efforts to make public places smoke-free.

Kindred Healthcare is the presenting sponsor for the walk. Additional sponsors include Family Allergy & Asthma, Genentech and KAIRE.
