COLUMBUS OH (04/28/2015)(readMedia)-- Lung cancer is the #1 cancer killer of both men and women.
Every five minutes, a woman in the United States is told that she has lung cancer.
Every eight minutes, a woman in the United States dies of lung cancer.
On average, less than half of all women diagnosed with lung cancer will be alive one year after diagnosis.
Only 16% of patients diagnosed with lung cancer are still alive after five years, compared with over 90 percent of breast and prostate cancer patients.
LUNG FORCE is a new movement led by the American Lung Association to unite women in the fight against lung cancer and for lung health by increasing awareness, education and research funding.
The Columbus LUNG FORCE Walk is Saturday, June 6, at Columbus' Easton Town Center. Visit LUNGFORCE.org for more information.
We have an exciting 30-second PSA that we hope you will be able to use to promote this event. Any air time that you can give us is greatly appreciated.
Use the link below to directly download the digital file of the spot. Note that, although the download screen calls it an audio file, it is definitely a video file.
