Maguire and Hathaway Named to All-Tournament team
The Brockport Golden Eagles lost in the first round of the SUNYAC Tournament
BROCKPORT, NY (05/07/2012)(readMedia)-- Junior Kaila Maguire (Potsdam, NY/Potsdam) and freshman Colleen Hathaway (Watertown, NY/South Jefferson) have both been named to the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) All-Tournament team.
Maguire finished with two goals and a team-high two draw controls. Hathaway picked up two ground balls and caused a team-high four turnovers against Cortland.
Brockport fell to the No. 11 nationally ranked Cortland Red Dragons 11-9 after leading 6-4 at halftime. Cortland went on to win the SUNYAC Championship over Buffalo State. Brockport finishes the season with a 10-5 overall record.
