Mark Of Excellence Finalists Show Marketing Diversity In The Capital Region

Winners will be announced at Mark of Excellence Award Ceremony

ALBANY, NY (09/09/2008)(readMedia)-- The New York Capital Region Chapter of the American Marketing Association (NYCRAMA) has announced the ten outstanding marketing campaigns and projects selected as finalists in the fourteenth annual Mark of Excellence Awards. The Mark of Excellence Awards recognizes highly effective, results-oriented marketing campaigns and initiatives from organizations, agencies and educational institutions across the Capital Region.

The winners will be announced at the Mark of Excellence Awards Ceremony and Dinner on Wednesday, October 1 at the Albany Marriot, Wolf Road. There will be a cocktail reception for guests beginning at 5:30 PM. The awards ceremony gets underway at 7 PM. The winning campaigns will be selected by a panel of nationally recognized marketers from across the country.

"It is gratifying to see not only the high-quality campaigns submitted this year, but also the diversity among the organizations that participated," said NYCRAMA president Courtney Remington. "Marketing is no longer an activity just for agencies. Companies across the board understand the importance that strong campaigns can have for their businesses, allowing them to obtain measurable and favorable outcomes."
