RE: Beaver Falls Police search for missing Geneva College student

After months of active investigation, the disappearance of Geneva College freshman Devon Minor remains a mystery. He was last seen 13 weeks ago, on January 20.

The last physical search of the riverfront and hillside property near Geneva was in February, when snow covered the ground. With the snow gone and before an abundance of foliage fills in the area, the Beaver Falls Police Department is leading another search of riverfront and adjacent property just north of the campus to south of Beaver Falls. This search is being conducted today by helicopter in the air and officers on foot, and includes the police and fire departments of Beaver Falls, as well as county and state agencies.

Following today's search, Chief Charles Jones will hold a news conference to present any results. It will be held at 1:15 p.m. in Skye Lounge of the Student Center on the Geneva College campus.
