Michael Stamper of Cherokee Helps Lead Brevard College to Ninth Place at AU Invitational

BREVARD, NC (09/16/2011)(readMedia)-- Brevard College junior Michael Stamper of Cherokee helped lead the Brevard College Men's Golf Team to a ninth place finish recently at the Anderson University Invitational.

Stamper finished the tournament tied for 30th overall, finishing with a 156 overall in the event. The tournament, held in Anderson, S.C., was the team's first action in the 2011 season.

The Tornados are back on the course as they begin action on Sunday, September 19 at the Pfeiffer Fall Intercollegiate in Misenheimer, N.C.
