Miss Spleman Raavin Evans Featured on 'UNCF an Evening of Stars'

ATLANTA, GA (01/27/2012)(readMedia)-- Miss Spelman 2011-2012, Raavin Evans, will be featured on the upcoming broadcast of "UNCF an Evening of Stars." During the show, the senior Political Science major from Dallas, TX, discusses her journey from homelessness to college and thanks UNCF for giving her a chance to make a difference.

The program will be broadcast in Atlanta on WATL/MyATL on Saturday, Jan. 28 at 8 p.m. and on BET on Sunday, Jan. 29 at 11 p.m. "An Evening of Stars" is a celebration of the best in education and music and includes performances by Patti LaBelle, Jill Scott, Anthony Hamilton, Ledisi and Musiq Soulchild.
