SCHENECTADY, NY (02/12/2015)(readMedia)-- The Friends of Schenectady County Public Library will offer a series of Books Sandwiched In programs at the Central library, 99 Clinton Street in Schenectady, On Monday, February 23 John Karl, a retired history teacher and president of The Friends of SCPL will review .Killing Patton: The Strange Death of WW II's Most Audacious General, by Bill O'Reilly and Martin Dugard.T he programs are held in the McChesney Room, beginning at 12:00 pm. All are open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lunch; beverages are available for a nominal fee. This program was originally scheduled for February 2 but postponed due to the weather.
