Art and Music in History
SCHENECTADY, NY (10/22/2015)(readMedia)-- During the month of November the Friends of Schenectady County Public Library will offer a series of Monday noon programs called Art and Music in History, a study of how the arts have influenced and been influenced by historical developments. The series, held on Nov. 2, 9, 16 and 30 in the McChesney Room of the Central Library, 99 Clinton Street, Schenectady, is presented by John Karl, retired history teacher and president of the Friends, All are open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lunch; beverages are available for a nominal fee.
