New Song Summer Tour 2012

Geneva's music and drama ministry kicks off its 11-state tour on Sunday, June 24.

BEAVER FALLS, PA (06/08/2012)(readMedia)-- New Song, Geneva College's traveling music and drama ministry, will begin its 2012 summer tour on Sunday, June 24, performing in various locations across 11 states. A complete list of the summer tour's dates and locations can be found here.

For 36 years, the group has been sharing the gospel in a contemporary and dynamic manner through music and theater. New Song also features a cappella psalms with timeless and stirring biblical lyrics. The group's director, Louise (Edgar '66) Copeland, is a graduate of Geneva College and holds a Master of Music degree from the University of Cincinnati.

The nine New Song 2012 members are: Justin Addicott, sophomore, music education major, Enon Valley, Pennsylvania; Elizabeth Dykshoorn, junior, music education major, Bad Axe, Michigan; Brynna Fair, senior, music and psychology major, Oil City, Pennsylvania; Logan Harper, senior, communications major, Mineral City, Ohio; Bethany Miller, senior music major, Saint-Lazare, QC Canada; Olivia Mitchell, sophomore philosophy major from Hollsopple, Pennsylvania; Amie Speers, sophomore music education major of Hopewell, Pennsylvania; Ian Taylor, senior, music business major/vocal performance major, Rochester, Pa; and Kenny Van Duzer, sophomore, music education major, Prince Frederick Maryland.
