WINCHESTER, VA (04/01/2014)(readMedia)-- Join Winchester Parks and Recreation for the first annual "Swinging Fore Sports" golf tournament. The tournament will take place on Thursday April 10, 2014 at 1:00 PM and will be held at Winchester Country Club. The format of the tournament will be 4-man captain's choice with prizes being awarded to the top 3 finishing teams. There will also be 2 closest-to-the-pin competitions and a longest drive competition; prizes will be awarded to the individual that wins each competition. The cost is $80 per person. Dinner will be served at the awards banquet following the tournament.

Hole sponsorship opportunities are also available. Donation amounts range from $50.00 to $1,000.00. Some sponsorship levels include the sponsorship of youth sports teams.
