SCHAGHTICOKE, NY (11/02/2013)(readMedia)-- Oooey Goooey Pumpkin Destruction Mayhem kicks off Saturday at 1:30pm at Liberty Ridge Farm, in Schaghticoke, NY.

The fall days are jam packed with food, fun and oooey gooey mayhem at one area farm in the Capital Region. On Saturday, November 2nd, starting at 1:30pm, friends and families of all ages are invited to the 1st annual Pumpkin Smash at Liberty Ridge Farm. The Pumpkin Smash displays wildly creative and fun ways to smash pumpkins. The oooey gooey shows, running at 1:30pm, 2:30pm and 3:30pm, focus on several methods of pumpkin destruction followed by the grand finale, a 40 foot pumpkin drop followed by pumpkin cannon shows and hands on pumpkin shooter fun.

The Pumpkin Smash will provide farm goers a chance to see pumpkin destruction done several ways. The pumpkin smash show will be followed by pumpkins being launched in the pumpkin cannon over ΒΌ mile away and for a fee each person can take a chance at shooting the pumpkin shooters. Liberty Ridge Farm is open until 10pm Saturday for cornmaze flashlight night fun. Brad's barnyard is open until 10pm with hand on adventures and traditional farm games.
