P.P.I. students work with local elementary school students
Taylor School students learn about animation techniques
TROY, NY (04/25/2013)(readMedia)-- Students from R.P.I. have been working with students at the Susan Odell Taylor School using the SCRATCH program. The iconic-based program was developed at M.I.T. to teach young children coding technique in an easy to understand and captivating manner. The undergraduate students taught the children how to make animations, games, interactive art and how to create their own cartoon characters.
Wednesday, May 1st is the last day of the class. The students, lead by the undergraduates will be giving a presentation of what they have learned.
