Taylor School Welcomes Local Author

Matthew McElligott to attend Pajama Read-In Day

TROY, NY (05/06/2013)(readMedia)-- The students of The Susan Odell Taylor School are hosting local author, Matthew McElligott at the school for a Pajama Read-In Day on May 8th. Students will come to school dressed in their pajamas and read in various settings throughout the school day.

Author, Illustrator and Professor of Illustration and Graphic Design at the Sage College of Albany, McElligott will be in attendance from 9:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. At 9:00, he will read and talk to the preschool, prekindergarten and kindergarten classes and then at 9:45 a.m. will read to grades 1-6 followed by Q & A. He will be reading from some of his books and talking about his writing process. He will also will be available to sign books that the students have pre-ordered. His latest books are, "Even Aliens Need Snacks" and "Benjamin Franklinstein Meets Thomas Deadison". More information can be found on his website at www.matthewmcelligott.com

A pancake, bacon and orange juice lunch will follow from 12-1:00 pm.
