PEF hosts Community Wellness Fair & Book Giveaway

ALBANY, NY (04/25/2024) (readMedia)-- The New York State Public Employees Federation (PEF) will host its second annual Community Wellness Fair and Book Giveaway this Saturday at the Albany Armory. Doors open at 9am for the community and the event takes place until 3pm. There will be a brief ceremony at 9:15am near the stage on the arena floor. PEF President Wayne Spence, Assemblymember Patricia Fahy and Albany Co. Executive Dan McCoy will offer remarks.

The event allows members of the community to interact with more than 40 vendors who offer state and county services catering to New York families, as well as select from 20,000 free books provided by the American Federation of Teachers' "Reading Opens the World" program.
