BEAVER FALLS, PA (08/02/2013)(readMedia)-- Beaver Falls Community Crime Watch Day is a non-profit, public-spirited, family-friendly event to promote community safety. Penguins' mascot Iceburgh will attend and the event concludes with a Zambelli fireworks display.

Beaver Falls Community Crime Watch Day

Activities with particular news and photography appeal include:

Children’s activities, including crafts, face painting and various “Penny Carnival” games.

Penguins' mascot, Iceburgh, will be there from 6 to 7p.m.

Demonstrations about small fire extinguishing, police taser guns, military vehicles, fire trucks and rescue vehicles will be performed.

Representatives from community service organizations will attend.

Local and state police officers, local firemen, city council members, members of the District Attorney's Office, and military recruitment officers will all be present.

A Zambelli fireworks display will be set off from Geneva’s soccer field shortly after 9 p.m. Guest will watch from the bleachers.
