Second SUNYAC Player of the Week for Sullivan

The sophomore was named SUNYAC Defensive Player of the Week for the second time

BROCKPORT, NY (09/09/2013)(readMedia)-- After posting two more shutouts and helping his team earn two more victories, Casey Sullivan of The College at Brockport men's soccer team has been named the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Defensive player of the week for the second week in a row.

Sullivan made three saves and helped the Golden Eagles improve to 3-0 with a 2-0 victory at St. John Fisher.

Later in the week, Sullivan made seven saves and was strong in net as Brockport defeated a tough Hobart team 2-0 under the lights at Brockport High School.

So far this season, Sullivan has only allowed 1 goal and made 18 saves. His save percentage is currently .947 and he is averaging only .25 goals allowed a game. The sophomore's three shutouts tie his career record.

The Golden Eagles return to action on Saturday for an important 3:00 pm matchup against nationally ranked St. Lawrence.
