Spalik Named 2013 "D3 Senior Classic" Preseason All-American
Senior Jake Spalik earned North Offense Second-Team Preseason All-American honors
BROCKPORT, NY (09/03/2013)(readMedia)-- Senior Jake Spalik earned Second-Team Preseason All-American Football honors presented by Collegiate Development Football League (CDFL).
The CDFL chooses players that represent the DIII level "top talent" for the upcoming college season and beyond.
Spalik led the Golden Eagles last year with a school-record 73 receptions and broke the career reception record midway through his junior year. He had the 73 catches for 847 yards and scored six touchdowns.
The Golden Eagles open up the season on Saturday against Lycoming. The game will be played at The University of Rochester at 1:00 pm.
