Special Forces Colonel Retires

MONTGOMERY, AL (07/30/2010)(readMedia)-- The Adjutant General of Alabama announces the retirement ceremony of Colonel Leonard H. Kiser at 4 p.m., August 6, 2010, at the 20th Special Forces Group (A) Armory, 5300 57th Street North, Building 1, Birmingham, Ala.

Col. Kiser is retiring after 36 years of service to the Army on active duty, in the Army Reserves and the National Guard; his leadership will be greatly missed.

Col. Kiser is the former commander of the 20th Special Forces Group and most recently served as Assistant Chief of Staff, National Guard Bureau. He is also a retired Alabama state police officer.
