CINCINNATI OH (09/26/2008)(readMedia)-- The Southern California University of Health Sciences' (SCU) chapter of the Student American Chiropractic Association (SACA) was awarded ‘Chapter of the Year' at the annual American Chiropractic Association (ACA) House of Delegates meeting for their efforts to help build bridges with the Student International Chiropractors Association (SICA). In addition, SCU student Daniel Bronstein was elected SACA National Vice Chair at the event. Furthermore, SCU student Stanton Hom was awarded the Outstanding Service Award for his work with the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress (F4CP). Hom and Bronstein went on to win 2 of 8 American Chiropractic Foundation scholarships.
Bronstein discusses the honor of being elected to the SACA National Executive Board, "I am humbled to accept the amazing responsibility that this national office brings, and furthermore, am extremely proud of the accomplishments my executive board has made in the past year. Our SACA chapter has now been officially recognized as the gold standard by which all other chapters model themselves. A big thanks goes out to all of our members for their hard work. I look forward to participating in making our chapter and organization even better in the coming years."
Todd Knudsen, DC, DACBR, Dean of the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic (LACC) at SCU echoes the sentiments of the campus community, "We are very proud of the entire LACC/SCU delegation to the ACA House of Delegates assembly. We extend our sincerest thanks to them for representing us well!"
