Summer Visit Events at Geneva College

Prospective students are invited to campus to experience a college class, explore financial aid options and more.

BEAVER FALLS, PA (06/24/2014)(readMedia)-- Each summer, Geneva College hosts visit events to provide prospective first-year and transfer students and their families the opportunity to explore what Geneva has to offer during one day, on-campus experiences.

On Friday, July 18, 2014, Geneva College will host its annual Summer Open House. During this event, students will have a chance to learn about Geneva's academic programs and activities, attend a class, tour campus, hear from the financial aid office, and discover the ins and outs of the admissions process. For students pursuing athletics, there will also be opportunities to meet with coaches.

"Geneva College's Summer Open House is a great way for students to get an initial look into who we are," says Roger Blevins, Assistant Director of Admissions. "Families will have the opportunity to get a lot of information about Geneva so they can jumpstart their college search process."

Geneva is also hosting two events for prospective student-athletes, which provide opportunities to meet with coaches and learn about specific varsity programs. For those interested in playing varsity women's softball, Softball Recruiting Day will take place on Wednesday, July 23. And for women volleyball players, Volleyball recruiting Day will be on Thursday, August 14.

Registration for any of the summer visit events is available at www.geneva.edu/visit or by calling the Admissions Office at 800-847-8255.

For those who are interested in visiting Geneva but are unable to attend a scheduled visit event, personal visits are also available. For more information, call 800-847-8255.
