Taylor School hosts Country Parade

TROY, NY (05/22/2012)(readMedia)-- Students from the Susan Odell Taylor School in Troy, will share what they have learned about different countries around the world by hosting a parade. Individual and classroom activities revolving around a classroom country study for all ages will be on display with student docents. There will be theme-bases projects and culinary delights for all ages.

The day will begin with a performance by the Taylor School Singers followed by the students parading or "traveling" to each classroom or "country" if you will. Each country will share it's customs, food, art, weather and other interesting information associated with their part of the world. Such countries as Kenya, Australia and Mexico will be featured. Guests will be given a passport to have stamped when they arrive in each country.
