National Guard's 257th Army Band, known as the Band of the Nation's Capital, introduces a new percussion ensemble with an innovative concert free and open to the public at John Addison Concert Hall, Harmony Hall Regional Center in Fort Washington, Md., at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 16.

WHAT: | A night of innovative percussion concussion Join hands with incredible featured artist and hand-drumming expert Mark Sawasky. Skins-master Sawasky is a world renowned drummer and clinician who brings the audience into the program through the intricacies of hand-drumming. The event is the premier of the 257th Army Band's newest performing ensemble, "innovative Rhythm on Demand" (iROD). iROD will be performing popular selections in a futuristic and innovative style.
