The Harvest Haunted Attraction Stalks Liberty Ridge Farm in October

New Effects offer thrills and chills in Haunted Farmer's House and Spooky Corn Maze

SCHAGHTICOKE, NY (09/27/2010)(readMedia)-- Friday and Saturday nights in October and Sunday of Columbus Day weekend Liberty Ridge Farm transforms into a haven for spirits and ghouls with The Harvest Haunted Attraction. At 7pm on those nights the cornstalk spirits arise to provide special admission thrills in the Farmers Haunted House and for those brave enough to journey through the Forest of Fear into the secret underground tunnel, a path of horror to the grand finale in the Spooky Corn Maze.

"Watch out this year, this one scares even me and I know what's in there," said Cynthia Gifford, owner of Liberty Ridge Farm, "We've brought in great new effects and totally redesigned the course of The Harvest Haunted Attraction. Don't miss this one." The five week haunted attraction is a production involving over 25 actors, multiple props and special effects in a specially developed 'Fright Done Right' story line.

The Harvest Haunted Attraction admission is $15.00 and includes The Haunted Farmer's House, his Forest of Fear, Spooky Corn Maze, the Wild Fort Hunter Maze and Brad's Barnyard Adventure. Recommended age appropriateness for The Harvest Haunted Attraction is 10 years old and older. For those who wish to come to the farm and not participate in the haunt we offer a $9.50 admission to enjoy Brad's Barnyard and any non-haunting evening activities.

The Harvest Haunted Attraction premieres on Friday, October 1st, and runs every Friday and Saturday night through Saturday October 30th.
