Immediately following the press conference and light lunch, media will be allowed in the Institute's galleries for b-roll and stills of the Albany Mummies.

The Albany Institute of History & Art’s Interim Director and Chief Curator Tammis K. Groft will be joined by notable Egyptologist Dr. Bob Brier, Professor Mary Valentis of the University of Albany, as well as representatives from GE and Albany Medical Center.
WHAT:

The Albany Institute of History & Art will share exciting news regarding recent X-rays and CT scans of the Institute’s famous mummies and announce plans for an upcoming exhibition on the mummies and Ancient Egypt. We have a fun way to announce the findings that is very camera-friendly.
