WOMEN IN INSURANCE & FINANCIAL SERVICES HOSTS NATIONAL CONFERENCE IN AUSTIN

ALBANY, NY (09/13/2018) (readMedia)-- More than 400 professionals representing the insurance and financial services profession will meet in Austin, Texas at the Renaissance Austin from October 24 - 26 for the 31st annual WIFS National Conference. As the largest professional association for women in the financial services profession, Women in Insurance & Financial Services (WIFS) is dedicated to attracting capable women to the financial services sector, helping them develop their talents and advancing them toward their fullest potential.

This year's conference, Leading the Way, will celebrate the impact that WIFS is making in the profession. Conference focuses on empowering women through dynamic educational sessions, networking events and inspirational presentations that support women investing in their futures. The Exhibit Hall will host 50 vendors with products and services aimed at elevating the businesses of those in the industry. Professional development sessions include communication best practices, sustainable investing, assessments of current market conditions and impacts, leadership development, team building and many more.

The conference will include a celebration of 2018 Circle of Excellence qualifiers, the WIFS Woman of the Year and the Chapter of the Year at the Awards Luncheon. This year, 160 members submitted qualifying documents for Circle of Excellence, a voluntary member recognition program, for a combined total income of $48.5 million.

Featured speakers include Jane Blaufus, CLU, best-selling author, international speaker and business coach; Olenka Cullinan, founder of Rising Tycoons; Sandy Eichel, a WMC Financial Advisor with Northwestern Mutual; Candice Tse, Vice President, US Head of Market Strategy, Strategic Advisory Solutions at Goldman Sachs Asset Management; and Amy Wolff, a TEDx speaker coach and executive coach with Distinction Communication, Inc.
