Zartman Named to First-Team All-SUNYAC
BROCKPORT, NY (05/08/2012)(readMedia)-- Junior Emily Zartman (Canandaigua, NY/Canandaigua) of The College at Brockport Women's Lacrosse team was named to the First-Team All-SUNYAC. Zartman was one of four Brockport players to be selected to an all-conference team, but was the lone Golden Eagle to be named to the first-team.
Zartman led Brockport with 44 goals on the season and totaled 57 points. The junior scored a team-high 12 free position goals on the year. This is the third consecutive year at least one Brockport player has been named to the first team.
The Golden Eagles fell to Cortland in the first round of the SUNYAC Tournament 11-9 after entering as the No. 4 seed. Brockport finished the season with an overall record of 10-5, the team's third straight year with double digit wins.
