Acting Business Council President Interviewed by Empire Page
ALBANY, NY (03/15/2011)(readMedia)-- When its president and CEO was appointed by Gov. Cuomo to head the Empire State Development Corp., the Business Council of NYS wasted no time appointing Heather Briccetti acting president and CEO. Given that Briccetti had only been on the Business Council staff since 2007, the decision can be seen not only as an endorsement of her performance but also an affirmation of the shift in political strategy that brought her to the Business Council in the first place.
Briccetti represents the new Business Council – one that endorses candidates and is more assertive in presenting its views to the public.
