New York StateWatch and The Empire Page Launch Joint Service

ALBANY, NY (02/26/2012)(readMedia)-- Two companies dedicated to helping organizations stay informed about NYS politics and government have joined forces to create an advanced news monitoring service which they are calling NYS E-Clips.

NYS E-Clips will help government officials, lobbyists, professional associations, political groups, special interest groups and others stay on top of media coverage of NYS government and politics.

Subscribers to the new service will have access to advanced searching and reporting tools. Those tools will enable each subscriber to identify news stories, editorials and opinion columns that fit unique areas of interest by general topic as well as keyword(s).

NYS E-Clips subscribers will also have access to legislative committee reports produced by New York StateWatch.

Empire Page editors will select news items for inclusion in E-Clips seven days a week drawing from more than 50 news sources.

Current subscribers of the two firms will be able to test out the new service starting March 1, 2012.

New York StateWatch is the private source for legislative information in New York. The web and mobile service provides access to real-time activity from the Assembly and Senate and an array of analytics to make sense of years of legislative information in ways to give its subscribers an advantage. StateWatch will offer E-Clips in addition to its existing legislative information service. Andrew Fish of Austin, TX is President/CEO of New York StateWatch and the service is operated by the Albany, NY office.

For more than a decade the Empire Page has offered links daily to hundreds of news items on NYS government and politics. The Empire Page will continue to offer its current NYS headlines service in addition to NYS E-Clips. The Empire Page is a service of PoliticalNewsToday.com, LLC (PNT). Peter G. Pollak is PNT's managing partner.
