Alexander Ginis participates in Northwestern Varsity Men's Chorus Men in Music Tour
ST.PAUL, MN (03/18/2011)(readMedia)-- Northwestern College in St. Paul, Minn. announces that Alexander Ginis, of Scandia, will be participating in the Varsity Men's Chorus Men in Music Tour. Tour dates and locations are as follows:
- Thursday, April 7 in St. Paul
- Friday, April 8 in Red Wing
- Friday, April 8 in Rochester
- Saturday, April 9 and Sunday, April 10 in Stewartville
- Tuesday, April 12 in St. Paul
The Varsity Men's Chorus, directed by Timothy Sawyer, makes its way back to perform for the second time at the Red Wing Correctional Facility, a maximum security prison for juvenile men. They will continue on to perform concerts in high schools, churches, and one hospital in Rochester and Stewartville, Minnesota.
Forty men strong, the chorus presents a concert of rousing fraternal fun, with sacred, folk music and spirituals, and a little surprise thrown in for good measure! The concert also features guest clarinetist Carl Christenson of the Northwestern College Symphonic Band, and pianist Seoyon Susanna Lim.
