Amanda Carney Named ECAC Rookie of the Week
Carney has won the award for the second consecutive week
BROCKPORT, NY (02/16/2012)(readMedia)-- Freshman Amanda Carney (Walpole, MA/Walpole) has been named the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Rookie of the Week. It is the second consecutive week Carney has been given the honor.
Competing against NCAA Division I opponent Towson University and Division III Ursinus College, Carney scored a team-high 9.625 on the vault. Carney also scored a 9.6 on the floor exercise. Both scores are personal-best marks for Carney.
