Dayna Piraino Named to All-Region Team
BROCKPORT, NY (05/24/2012)(readMedia)-- Senior Dayna Piraino (Syracuse, NY/Henninger) of The College at Brockport Women's Lacrosse team has been named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Empire Region Second-Team.
Piraino led Brockport with 67 points and 36 assists on the year. The senior became just the third Golden Eagle to eclipse the 200-point mark and finished her career with 235 total points, second most in school history. Piraino was also named to the Second-Team All-State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC).
Piraino and the Golden Eagles advanced to the SUNYAC Playoffs for the third consecutive year. Brockport finished with a record of 10-5 and finished with a 5-3 conference record.
