Dustin Colgan Named SUNYAC Field Athlete of the Week
The senior picks up his second honor of the season
BROCKPORT, NY (02/21/2012)(readMedia)-- Senior Dustin Colgan (Rome, NY/Rome Free Academy) has been named the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Male Field Athlete of the Week.
Colgan, competing in the men's weight throw and shot put events at the RIT Orange/Brown Invitational over the weekend, earned the Male Field Athlete of the Week for the second time this season. Colgan finished first in the weight throw with an Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) qualifying mark of 16.69 meters. Colgan also finished third in the shot put event with a distance of 14.29 meters. Colgan's other athlete of the week award came on Jan. 23.
