SCHENECTADY, NY (03/20/2014)(readMedia)-- The Friends of Schenectady County Public Library will offer a Spring Special series of Monday Noon programs at the Central library, 99 Clinton Street in Schenectady. At the March 31 program entitled Voices of Today, join members of a memoir-writing workshop from Howe Library in Albany for a reading of their work. At the April 7 program entitled Voices of Long Ago, Bertrand Fay, a well known teacher and performer will present a program called "Meeting J:An Encounter with one of Western Culture's most imaginative literary voices". The programs are held in the McChesney Room, beginning at 12:00 pm. All are open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lunch; beverages are available for a nominal fee.
