Immigration Policy Discussion
SCHENECTADY, NY (11/24/2014)(readMedia)-- On December 1 and 8 at noon in the McChesney Room of the Central Library, the Friends of Schenectady County Public Library will offer a discussion program on U.S. Immigration Policy and Issues with Kimberly Finnigan, an attorney from Albany who specializes in immigration and naturalization law. Kimberly will help us understand the current immigration laws, the issues that our lawmakers struggle with, and possible reforms to the system. Attendees will be given references to help understand the issues, and will have an opportunity to express their views about what our President and Congress should do to improve the system. The reference documents are available at the Central Library reference desk and on the Friends website: http://friendsofscpl.org/programs/
